Chapter 12 - Be Fruitful, Multiply

There is a model for the Church, the very one Jesus wanted. Before Jesus' ideal would get buried by the world, He gave us His own example - the Holy Family of Nazareth. The wonderful beauty of the ongoing story of creation, is that all of us believers are actually parents. "Yet setteth he the poor on high from affliction, and maketh him families like a flock. The righteous shall see it, and rejoice, and all iniquity shall stop her mouth." Psalm 107 : 41-42A

And, in all truthfulness, we each have a child in our home - the child Jesus. If Jesus, present in the Eucharist, can be our child, we should not fear to take Him into our home ! "For it is through the Holy Spirit that this child has been conceived in her." Mathew 1 : 24

We are the Church - more eloquently said, we are one family. This is God's justice, this is God's promise to Abraham. Each home of each believer around the world is knitted together in a cellular structure, to form the mystical Body of Christ.

"... in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice." Genesis 22 : 17-18

In the spiritual world, men and women are equally yoked for the same task, to come together in the preservation of the spiritual family, and raise sons and daughters according to the promise made to Abraham, our father in faith. "But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.” Mathew 12 : 48-50

The correction to the church that will bring reform already exists. It's you. You are the solution ! Your faith brings the child Jesus into your home.
